Description

Guess who got new inking pens? This guy, that's who! Hell yeah, I'm back in business, baby!

Ehem, so, this is an idea that :iconlecter136: gave me. No, it was NOT a request or a commission of any kind, as the title should imply, it was just an idea that I found promising. No favoritism here.

So, the idea itself is pretty simply. Since we know that Legendary is making AT LEAST two sequels to Godzilla (2014), and we know that Mothra is a go for the second, and we (obviously) know that Legendary is redesigning the characters they are using, what would other classic Toho Kaiju look like if Legendary got their hands on them? Well, I decided to come up with some ideas of my own for how they'll look. This is what I would like to see in a LegendaryGhido, per say. Done with NO reference, might I add! Influenced heavily by the HeiseiGhido design.

Now here's a little bio of our remastered classic Kaiju villain:

King Ghidorah
Heigh: 163 meters
Weight: 110,500 tons
Length: 333 meters
Wingspan: 236 meters

Biology:
King Ghidorah's origins are unknown. What is known about this great beast is it's attributes. King Ghidorah is one of the largest Daikaiju recorded to this date. His size alone is impressive, but he would not be nearly as formidable if that was his only strength. King Ghidorah sports three heads which sit atop of long, serpentine necks. The heads are adorned with backward-facing spikes which ornate above the eyes and at the cheeks. The central head has the most exotic display. Having three heads, each equipped with a functional brain system. allows King Ghidorah to focus entirely on three things at once without wavering. This make King Ghidorah extremely dangerous in battle, for even attacks at opposite angles can be focused on and deflected with little problem. The throats of each neck is plated for defense and the three spines are adorned with large spikes that protrude upwards. This makes King Ghidorah's seemingly easliy-targeted heads very tough to grapple with. Not only this, but the necks themselves are very flexible and extremely muscular, giving them constricting power. Though each head works individually, it seems as if the central head is more important than the other two, as the severing of this head is much more crippling to the massive beast. King Ghidorah's main offense, besides his massive bulk, is a projectile weapon know as the Gravity Bolt. This immensely powerful blast originates in an organ that sits in the center of King Ghidorah's chest. This organ acts as a small star, enacting fusion within it's walls. This energy not only fuels the Gravity Bolts, but also fuels King Ghidorah as a whole, allowing the creature to be very active. Some even say it is capable of interstellar travel with such vast amount of raw energy within it core. To make this process function, however, King Ghidorah must inhale a steady supply of Hydrogen. There is also a second organ that aids in the creation of the Gravity Bolts. This organ is fed some of the energy created in the star organ as fuel. It then, through chemical reactions and frictional movement of the contraction of the organ, electrifies the energy and condenses it into an almost plasma-like substance. This substance, when wished to be ejected in an attack, is then forced up a special tube which connects to the wind pipe. A plated flap of skin then covers the wind pipe's entrance to prevent a backfire into the lungs while the beam is being ejected out the mouth. King Ghidorah's massive weight makes him very difficult to topple. He suppers himself with four massive limbs. The front limbs act most as wings, but when folded back they can support weight on a wrist-like joint that sports one large claw, which is excellent for close-range combat purposes. The hind legs are far more robust and can support the entire body mass alone, but only for a certain length of time. The wingspan of this gargantuan beast is nearly twice that of the monster's total height. They have to be to allow it to take lift. Though fairly slow due to his immense weight on land, King Ghidorah has much less restrictions on his body when in the air, allowing him to reach speeds of up to mach 3 in flight. This great speed, coupled with his girth, makes King Ghidorah's simple presence cause hurricane-force winds when his wings become active. His tail, which has a very thick base, extends and diverges into two separate tails by its end. The tips of these tails are heavily spiked, making them ideal for edge-based club attacks. With so many different appendages and the ability to focus on so many things at once makes King Ghidorah a really tactician in battle. His strength alone is awe-inspiring, but this coupled with his abundance of impressive abilities makes him an almost unstoppable foe!

Certainly one of the better speculative renditions of Legendary-verse Ghidorah I have seen. Keep it up. ;)
